Sandra's obituary
November 16, 1949 – July 21, 2021
Sandra Lee Mick, 71, joined the Lord on July 21, 2021, with her family by her side. Sandra was born in South Bend, Indiana, to Joseph and Virginia Lyons on November 16, 1949. The family later moved to San Antonio, TX, where Sandi grew up. She attended Robert E. Lee High School and furthered her education at the University of TX Health Science Center, where she later worked until her retirement in 2003.
Sandi enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening, watching birds, sewing, and taking trips with her husband to Rockport & Corpus Christi. Throughout her life, she was an active member of Wayside Chapel in San Antonio, TX, and Hillside Fellowship in Spring Branch, TX.
Sandi is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry Mick; her children, Patricia Alcorn, Larry Mick Jr. and his wife Trish; her grandchildren, Ashly Smith and her husband Daniel, John Alcorn, and Abigail Mick; and her brother, Charles Lyons.
A memorial service will be held on July 31, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Fellowship in Spring Branch, TX
