So sorry to hear about Sandy’s passing. She was so much fun, and I have such great memories of our golfing days and the good times we shared back then. We “grew up” in SHRM around the same time, and I’ve been thinking especially about the laughs and moments at events and Ohio SHRM conferences. My heart is with her family and loved ones—this is such a tremendous loss.

My nickname for Sandy was and always will be Sunshine because she had a wonderful smile, positive attitude and loved to have fun. One phrase captured Sunshine = she ROCKED!

See you on the other side, my friend.

Thank you, Sandy for making life more fun at Leaf and the gym. I’ll never forget our great convos and pool days. I’m so thankful we had lunch in March at your favorite place, Darbys and had a chance to reconnect. You will be so missed!

I am heartbroken about Sandy’s passing.  We met through the Ohio State Conference where we became roommates and lifelong friends.  Her smile, energy and love of life made everyone want to be around her.  She was fun, always laughing and always there when you needed her.  She touched my life and so many others and will be deeply missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with Scott, her family and friends.
“Sprauss,” to those of us who grew up with her affectionately called her, will be sadly missed. I shared some of what were the best times of my life with her. From about the age of 13, we became great friends and that friendship grew thru high school and well beyond.  The countless memories and times we spent, will always bring in a smile and a laugh.  I truly feel lucky to have had her in my life….what a wonderful soul 💧. Love You RIP
We are very sorry to hear about Sandy. SHRM Ohio was blessed to have her as the conference chair in 2015. We appreciate all the efforts and energy she gave to our Council and Conference. Please accept our deepest condolences.

So sorry to hear this news.  Sandy and I grew up together in Brecksville.  She loved music and always wore a smile.  RIP my friend…

Absolutely heartbroken to hear about Sandy's passing.  She was one of my best friends when we were teens - our shared love of Classic Rock was our glue 🎶  So, so many good times.  There are way too many stories to tell, but I treasure them all, and they will always be close to my heart ❤️
I am so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing! I worked with her at CASNET and she was always coming up with ideas to make work more fun , like sports day, plus the holiday parties. Thank you for the memories Sandy!
I am so heartbroken to hear of Sandys passing.  We met and became friends in the mid 80's. So many memories of music, nature walks, parties with friends, and crying on each others shoulders during bad times. We may not have been in touch in quite some time, but the time we had together as friends will live with me always.
I remember the day Sandy interviewed at LeafFilter. It was a day that ultimately changed the Leaf and it's employees lives forever.  I will never forget her calling me to her office, cranking the R&R music and making me do squats with her!  *Smile*  She touched the hearts of many people and she will be sorely missed.  My sincerest condolences to Scott and her family and friends.

I worked with Sandy @ CASNET. She was always smiling and very energetic.

I remember the day she told me about her hole in one and she was so excited about it.

Very sad to hear this news through the HR grapevine. Sandy was one of the fun ones—always a big smile and a wisecrack. I will miss her.
