Sandra's obituary
Sandi loved all animals and especially enjoyed photos of her friends' cats. Sandi enjoyed the annual Puppy Bowl with friends. She dedicated many years of her life to taking care of her ailing parents. Sandi was dedicated to God and supported her small Lutheran church until it finally closed its doors. She was the best deviled egg maker and would bring them over for a party, or if she couldn’t join, she would still send a plate over. She enjoyed traveling during her life both for fun and her profession. Sandi was a very talented knitter and made several lap blankets for other residents in the rest home. She enjoyed decorating for Christmas. She loved mixed nuts, Hershey’s chocolate nuggets, peppermint life savers and hot sauce. She read and reread hundreds of books, she took to coloring with colored pencils the last few years and always enjoyed a good crossword puzzle.
Though Sandi’s earthly journey has come to a close, the legacy of her kindness, devotion, and quiet strength endures. Her life was marked by unwavering care for others, deep faith, and a generous spirit expressed in both word and deed. The memories she created—woven through family traditions, thoughtful gestures, and steadfast service—will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.
