Sandy Kerr, age 74 of Denver Co. passed away at Porter Hospice in Centennial Co. September 10th 2023 after a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma.

Per Sandy's wishes her body has been cremated. There will be no formal service but friends are welcome to share memories and photos here on Sandy's Tribute page.

Sandy was born in Marshalltown Iowa where she graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1967 and began working for Northwestern Bell. She then transferred to Denver to work for Mountain Bell and then for Lucent Technologies.

After 30 years with the phone company, Sandy retired to pursue other interest, one of which was nurturing people with fantastic pedicures! She loved spending time in nature and enjoyed biking and gardening, which she did as a business for many years.

She liked to step out and try things that were a bit scary for her, like sailing, snorkeling and swimming with dolphins. She loved being around people and was a positive force to everyone around her. She had a diverse group of friends and was a truly unique and authentic individual who told it like she saw it.

Sandy was a member of the Bridgeway Church and was active in the church community and loved her Bible study groups. Her church family was very important to her.

Sandy was third born into a family of 7 children and is survived by 3 sisters, Jan Yocum, Nancy Wunn, and Joyce Kerr, and 2 brothers, Keith Kerr and Brad Kerr.  She is also survived by 5 nieces and 4 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Doris Kerr and brother Chad Kerr.
