Sandy's obituary
We announce the passing of Sandra Kay Morgan, who left us on August 26, 2025. Known affectionately as "Sandy" to most, she was born on November 19, 1963, and throughout her life, she demonstrated a spirit that was truly full of life.
Sandy's love for life was matched only by her love for her animals and devotion to her wife, Jill Morgan, who survives her. Together, they shared an inseparable bond, marked by mutual respect, love, and deep affection. The loss is deeply felt by Jill and all who had the privilege of knowing Sandy. She is also survived by her brothers David, Tom, and Frank Morgan and her sister Cindy("Radie") Morgan, and her son and daughter Jason and Jennifer Olmstead.
In her lifetime, Sandy achieved several notable accomplishments. She served honorably in the Army before establishing her career as a Journeyman Electrician. She was a proud union member of IBEW Local #46, where her diligence and dedication were highly valued.
Sandy was a woman of profound kindness and generosity. This was evident not only in the love she showered on those around her but also in her guiding principle: "Give the shirt off your back to help others in need." This lesson, among many others she passed on, will continue to inspire and guide us.
Sandy leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. She embodied a spirit of giving and empathy that touched many lives and will continue to do so in her absence.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established for "Celebration of life and final expenses". Donations can be made online at https://everloved.com/life-of… The celebration will be held in Antioch, CA where she resided for the past 24 years.
Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in the lessons she taught us, the love she shared, and the lasting impact she made on the world. Sandy Morgan: a life beautifully lived, would not want us to mourn, but to celebrate life and live it to the fullest each and every day.
