It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sandra Jubb on the 20th of February, 2026. Born on the 16th of June, 1935, Sandra blessed the world with her warm and caring personality for 91 years.
Survived by her sons Mark Fitzgerald, David Fitzgerald and grandson Jacob Fitzgerald. Sandra left her heartwarming imprint not only on her immediate family but also on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. A lover of simple pleasures, Sandra enjoyed the taste of a good cup of tea while watching her favorite game shows. She had a fondness for the classic film 'The Sound of Music' and appreciated the beauty and tranquility of soft watercolor pastels.
Life for Sandra was never confined to the four walls of her home as she indulged herself in the thrill of flying, a hobby that revealed her adventurous spirit. She found joy and peace in immersing herself into the tranquility of nature; walking was her favored way of exercise.
Her compassion extended beyond those she knew personally. Sandra was a devoted advocate for Veterans causes, showcasing her heart of gold. This grace was reflected in her preference for the color blue—an embodiment of trust, loyalty, and wisdom.
Sandra led a life of virtue—sharing a strong belief in the ideology to "follow the straight and narrow". This principle guided her in her professional journey as well. She strived and succeeded in becoming a legal secretary, a feat that earned her the honor of being named the Legal Secretary of the Year. Her determination also led her to achieve the remarkable feat of earning her pilot's license—showcasing that the sky was indeed her limit.
