Sandra's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra "Sandy" Hobbs, who left us on November 23, 2024. Born on October 25, 1962, Sandy was an individual well-loved by many and will be dearly missed. While she responded to "Sandy", she always preferred her formal name, Sandra.
Sandra is survived by her loving daughters, Shannon McDaniel and Stephenie McDaniel, their husbands and her cherished grandchildren, Christina Watkins and Christopher McDaniel, and granddaughter Cayleigh Watkins, from Shannon and grandsons Travis, Stephen, and Bodine from Stephenie. She also leaves behind her mother, Joan Whitmore, her father, Jerry House, and her brothers, Robert House and Richard Gatz.
A vibrant and outgoing woman, Sandra was often considered the life of the party. She had a way of lighting up any room she entered and was widely known as a social butterfly. Known for her love for country music, her enthusiasm for the Los Angeles Chargers, and her dedication to her family, Sandra also leaves behind Dakota her little dog.
Sandra's life was a testament to the values she held close. She always taught us not to be judgmental of people, a wisdom that touched many lives. One of her proudest moments was graduating from college, a feat that demonstrated her firm belief - 'Don't give up, you can do anything you put your mind to'.
Her legacy stands as an enduring reminder of these words. She was a beacon of determination, strength, and love. Sandra's loss will be felt deeply, especially by her loving family and as a message from her daughter Shannon I love you mommy and I miss you so much. I love you to the moon and back.
In memory of Sandra, we ask that you cherish the time with your loved ones, hold your family close, and remember to live life to the fullest, just as she did. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Sandra "Sandy" Hobbs will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be alive in our hearts.
