Sandra Manuela Goebel, 65, passed away in Chandler, Arizona, after a courageous battle with illness.

Born in Sonora, Mexico, Sandra spent much of her life between the Sonoran region and the greater Phoenix area. She grew up surrounded by a large and loving extended family—grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins—who helped shape her deep sense of compassion, generosity and strength.

Sandra lived with infectious enthusiasm and a boundless heart. She offered unconditional love and support to all who crossed her path. Whether it was caring for animals or people, she gave of herself freely and joyfully. Her presence brought light, and her kindness left lasting impressions.

Her greatest joy in life was her daughter and namesake, Sandy, and her beloved husband, Thomas Goebel, who preceded her in death. That joy only deepened as her family grew to include Sandy’s husband, Jeff, and their son, Fox, who brought her immeasurable happiness and pride.

Though she faced debilitating pain and sickness in her final years, she carried herself with grace. Her family finds comfort knowing she is now at peace and no longer struggling.

In accordance with her wishes, Sandra did not want a formal service. Her family honors her by carrying forward the love she so freely gave to others.
