Sandra Warters Clanton, 76, of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2023 under hospice care surrounded by loving family.  

Sandra was born on March 27, 1947 to Seaton and Jane Warters in Knoxville.  Sandy is survived by her son, Curtis Clanton (Shannon); her daughter Cassandra; her grandchildren Sam Clanton, Elizabeth DJ Clanton, and Abi Clanton; her great-grandchildren Elora and Ezra; and her sister, Diana Ogdin.  

Sandy was a deeply generous soul to friends and family and had a loving passion for animals, caring for many rescued pets over her lifetime.  She frequently offered support to those in need who she encountered throughout her career as a barber.  Sandy was also an avid reader with a deep curiosity, and she was quick to laugh at life's absurdity.  Her love and laughter will be missed by all who knew her.
