Sandra "Sandy" Allison, 79, of Florence, OR, passed away on February 09, 2023 after a difficult battle with dementia she has passed away.

Sandy was born on December 16, 1943 to John and Mable Brodnansky in Santa Rosa, California. After graduating from Montgomery High School in 1961, she landed her first job as a beautician.  She met Walt Allison, and they wed in 1964, going on to have 2 children, Dianna and William.

When Sandy had Dianna, her husband Walt was still in the Navy and Sandy was living in a small house in Santa Rosa. After their second child, William, the family moved to Sacramento, where Walt got a job working as a civilian on McClellan Air Force Base. Sandy spent her time with her small children and keeping her house clean.  She was always spending time with her grandmother at a hospice near her home.  In her youth Sandy was in the Theta Rho, and that led her to have a great love of service in organizations.  Sandy loved working with the Rebekah's, DAR, Eastern Star, and the Odd Fellow's.  We will miss her greatly.

Sandy was predeceased by her mother and father, Mable and John Brodnansky and her husband, Walther Allison. She is survived by her children, Dianna and William Allison and her Grandchildren, Joseph, James Ian and Sean.
