Sam was a nephew of my grandmother(Anna Maud Shockley-Miller).  He was framed and had nothing to do with killings at Alcatraz. He was insane. Unreal how they found him and  Thompson quility of murder.

Sam Richard was executed, despite having nothing to do with the Alcatraz uprising. Simply murdered because mistakes made by James Bennett ( BOB director ) and James Johnston ( Warden of Alcatraz ) had to be kept in silence.
