With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel L. Morris, born May 7, 1948, who left us on August 1, 2024. A beloved father, friend, and a pillar of strength, his resilience and love for life influenced everyone around him. 

His legacy and memory are carried forward by his children Kim Blackley and Samuel Morris Jr. of Virginia; Traci McLean of North Carolina; and three grandchildren: Nathan, Logan and Desmond. A man who lived his life with unwavering dedication and commitment, Samuel will always be fondly remembered in our hearts. His passing is a significant loss, but his life's influence will continue to be cherished and celebrated.

A memorial service to honor his legacy and celebrate his life will be held privately at his family home in Victoria, Virginia on August 4, 2024 at 2 p.m. with internment of ashes immediately following the service.
