Obituary

Samuel Moore Sr. was born Feb 18th 1939, the sixth of seven children born to the union of Clarence Moore Sr. and Queen Victoria Wilkes Moore in Tchula, Mississippi. The Moore family migrated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the mid-1940's, where Sam was educated in the Milwaukee Public Schools. At Lincoln High School, Sam was an excellent academic student and also excelled athletically, lettering in three sports....football, basketball and track & field.
