Samuel Goins, a cherished father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He was a respected community member who peacefully passed away at the age of 90 on October 26, 2023. Born on July 17, 1933, Samuel led a life full of love and service to others. His spirit, wisdom, and kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is preceeded in death by wife Maybel, parents Otis and Edith, daughter Ellie. 

He is survived by his four children Louis Goins(Kathy) daughter  Samantha Givens(Henry) son Samuel Goins Jr.(Meredith). A host of nieces and nepews and grandchildren who will carry on his legacy of love and compassion. His memory will forever remain in our hearts as we remember his strength of character and distinctive charm. As we mourn his passing, we celebrate the inspiring journey of his well-lived life.
