Update from Sept. 17, 2024

Sam’s family would love for you to post any memories or photos of Sam here, or contact us directly. We know he was involved in many causes, community-oriented jobs and volunteer work, but we don’t know them all. Please share interests, organizations, causes, and favorites of Sam’s such as books, music and movies. Sam previously worked at the Sacramento Public Library and the Sutter Medical library, among others. Please share this site with anyone who may have known him. Thank you so much.

Update from Sept. 8, 2024

As a reminder to all: the memorial service for Sam will be held on Saturday, 9/21, 6-9pm at the Nicoletti Funeral Home on Folsom Blvd. in Sacramento. More information is on the "Events" tab on this site. Please RSVP if possible. Samuel Martin Fry died on Monday, August 26th in Sacramento, CA. Sam comes from a tight-knit family and is survived by his five siblings, their spouses and families (including a nephew and niece), his parents, and his beloved wife Kim.
