Samuel Joshua Freeman passed away on Friday , February  4  2022, after a brief battle with heart failure. He was 56

Samuel  was born on May 25, 1966, in Eugene , Oregon . He attended the University of Florida. He held a Bachelor of Science in Tourism, Event and Recreation Management. , before graduating from college Samual had visited all fifty states. He took a gap year after he graduated and backpacked through Eastcoast . He picked up a few new languages. 

Samuel loved the Lakers and Yjw Dallas Cowboys. He would always take his youngest Destiny with him to every game.  He began working in the hospitality industry. In 1996 Samuel married Lesa Quarles, his high school sweetheart. They reconnected on the slopes at Loveland Ski Resort. The following year they welcomed daughter Shamela Freeman then two years later another daughter Tera Quarles then 10 years later their baby girl Destiny. Samuel  was excited for his girls to join him and Lesa  for a lifetime of adventures. He never stopped planning the adventures they could all have together.

In addition to Lesa, Shamela,Tera,Destiny, Samuel is survived by his father and mother, Walter Allen Freeman and Yvonne Bailey as well as his sister Lashell, Elizabeth. And his brother mark. . He was predeceased by his brother, Jason Joseph Freeman.

The funeral service will be at The Eugene church of Christ Funeral Home, 2424 Norkenzie Rd, Eugene, OR 97408 on Sunday 27 2022 , at 11 am. A visitation before the service will begin at noon. The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives.
