Samuel August Cancila, age 91, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, at The Grande at Creve Coeur assisted living facility.
Born on September 29, 1933, in St. Louis, Missouri, Sam was the beloved son of Anna and Mariano Cancila. He graduated from Saint Louis University High School and later attended Saint Louis University, where he met Nanette Becker—the love of his life. They married in 1956 and built a home in Kirkwood, where they …
