Sam Moreno went home to Jesus on March 13, 2021 at age 68. Sam was born to Lionel and Sofia Moreno on January 13, 1953 in Dos Palos CA.

Sam met his wife, Aurora Bejaran in 1967 in Ceres CA. They married on January 12, 1969 and went on to have two children, Mario and Christina.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving husband, Sam also loved to help those in need. He had a loving and caring spirit and all who knew him experienced it. Throughout his life, he developed an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him.

Sam joins his family who has passed before him in Heaven. He is survived by his wife Aurora; his son Mario and his wife Rochelle; his daughter Christina and her husband Cody; and his grandchildren Brandon and his wife Danielle, Iian and his wife Jessica, Andrew, and Ethan. He is also survived by his brothers Daniel, David, Albert, and Jim Moreno; and his sister Jessie Welter.

Sam dedicated 47 years of his life working at Acacia Memorial Cemetery and spent a short time working for Salas Brothers Funeral Home. Those who knew him in this capacity described him as a very compassionate and caring man who knew how to relate to people. It was not uncommon for Sam to accompany those who lost loved ones and had no one to lean on during their time of sorrow.
