Sam hired me to work with him at Hartman Simons in 2010.  I knew from that first lunch meeting at Blue Ridge Grill that we'd get along great.  I loved working with Sam for 3 years, but more importantly, I loved being Sam's friend for the last 14 years.  I am devastated by his passing and will miss him dearly.  He was such a wonderful person.  Thanks for everything, Sam.

Butch and I are so very sorry to hear about Sam. We are old Weatherstone friends and have known Joe, Betty and Sam since 1972. We miss Joe and now Sam. It’s just too soon for Sam. We send our love to you Betty.

I worked with Sam for 5 years at Hartman Simons. He was a wonderful mentor and close friend. We kept in touch after we both left the firm. I will miss him dearly.

To Sam's Children - I was one of the neighborhood kids from Weatherford Court (your Dad's childhood home).  He was a smart, sassy kid - and grew up to be an amazing man and a wonderful Father.  Sending you, Betty and your entire family prayers - Fay Fulton (my childhood home was across the street from Betty's house).
