How you can help

We're heartbroken to have lost Sal, who loved and gave so much.

Sal was a lifelong medical professional, dedicated to helping others as a respiratory therapist for 50+ years. For patients who needed full-time oxygen care, he'd even cover the difference in their electricity bills - he never wanted anyone to have to choose between their health and bills. Sal's giving spirit meant so much to his patients, his family, and his friends.

Sadly, he had a stroke 10 years ago and was unable to go back to work for much of the years following, effectively ending his career, and life insurance was impossible to secure due to his ongoing health struggles.

We'd appreciate any help and support in covering the costs of Sal's funeral and memorial services, which provided loved ones a chance to gather and honor Sal. Donations will be used to pay for the funeral expenses, and anything above and beyond will go to the Kidney Cancer Association, which is working towards finding a cure for kidney cancer.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone's love and support during this incredibly difficult time.
