My deepest sympathies go to all of Sally’s family during this time. I met Sally in college and we pledged Kappa together. Sally was the best and we shared great times together. I will miss her friendship, laughter, loyalty and loving spirit! I learned a lot from Sally that I will cherish forever. God bless you Sweet Sally. We all will miss you dearly.

Before I met Sally, I was fully aware of her legendary La Jolla status, so I was prepared to be intimidated when we first shared space. Instead, she totally disarmed me; she was completely welcoming and gracious, with that spontaneous smile and an eager ear that immediately made me feel included and important. As I look back at our most recent exchanges, she was always acting as a cheerleader, sending encouragement, love and prayers. This is the Sally I will remember. The fierce love. The appreciation of even the smallest display of beauty. The enveloping hugs. And that smile, that spontaneous smile. My heart goes out to the Ricchiutis and the Manchesters and all of her loved ones during this impossible time. ❤️

Deepest Condolences to all of the Ricchiuti & Manchester Families. The things I remember most about Sally are her kind & generous heart & her sweet smile. Rest in peace.

Sally moved to Dallas with her family for a year and a half and having her close was wonderful! I will treasure that time we had. Miss you Sal.
