Sally Leon unexpectedly passed February 1st, 2024. She was 1 of 18 children born in Holtville, California September 10, 1936 to Candelario and Donna Aguirre. Sally Married the love of her life; Liaz Leon and raised 5 children in Watsonville, CA; Anna Gonzales (Mario), Liaz Jr. (Geri), Alice Curtis (Marc), Jeff and Ed Leon. Sally was lovingly known as Nani to her 9 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren. She was a hard worker all her life and worked for Green Giant and Spectra-Mat in Watsonville. After retirement Liaz and Sally moved to their dream community up in Gold Country. She then went on to be an educator for several years at Avery school. Nani was fierce, loving, strong and will be immensely missed by her family. Intimate services will be held for immediate family at a future date.
