Sally's obituary
Sally Ann Williams Klaskin, 80, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Christmas Eve, December 24th, 2023. She was preceded in death by her son and daughter, Eric and Amy Tannahill, along with her parents Grace Taylor and Oliver A. Williams. Sally leaves behind the love of her life, Jack Klaskin, with whom she celebrated 45 years of marriage this past August. She also leaves a son Ethan, step-son John (Carla) and daughter Karen Johnson (Jason). Sally was the proud grandmother of ten grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Sally was a graduate of Kirkwood High School and MacMurray College in IL, with a Bachelor's degree in social work. She called Waukegan, IL home in her young adult years before returning to the St. Louis area. In the years to follow, Sally lived in several communities, including South St. Louis, Kirkwood, and later St. Charles County. Wherever she went, Sally made friends easily with her warm laugh and friendly demeanor. She was known for her two passions, her family and gardening.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service honoring Sally's life at Grace Episcopal Church in Kirkwood, on Saturday, January 6th at 11am. Green or brightly colored attire preferred.
