In lieu of flowers

Please consider a contribution to Wiedemann-Steiner Syndrome Foundation.

Background

Sally's youngest grandson, Jimmy, was born with Wiedemann-Steiner Syndrome, which is a mutation of the kmt2a gene on the long arm of the 11th chromosome. Jimmy's small stature, developmental delays, epilepsy and autism are a result of this rare genetic condition.
Because there are still around 1000 people worldwide who have been diagnosed with WSS, the Wiedemann-Steiner Syndrome Foundation facilitates research and communicates with both medical personnel as well as the families of those diagnosed.
