OBITUARY OF

SALLY JANE DEL PONTE

April 16, 1946-May 19, 2023

Sally ultimately prevailed and defeated the Alzheimer’s Disease on May 19, 2023. Sally is with our Lord and Savior and will have everlasting peace, comfort and joy.

Sally was the mother of three loving children, Gina, Kelsey and Jodi Del Ponte. Her daughter-in-law, Tia Del Ponte, and son-in-law, Frank Propati, were a great source of joy and pride to Sally, as were her two grandchildren, Jasmine and Marcalina Del Ponte, all of Denver. Sally was preceded in death by her mother and father, Gussie and Albert Smith of Littleton, Colorado and her brother, Albert (Cotton) Smith, Jr. of Littleton.

A wonderful wife, companion and friend of thirty-three years to Roger Thompson, beloved by her children, her step-children, Robin, Roger and Stacy, her step-grandchildren, Ellie & Sam Buchanan of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Caroline Hilliard of Knoxville, her many friends and her care-givers.

Sally passed away at The Lighthouse, Trinity Hills Senior Living, Knoxville, TN in the arms of her husband. She was a Christian and loved the Lord.

May God rest her soul, give her comfort, peace and a place of honor in his mansion. She will always be in our hearts and prayers
