This is the year that I came to DC to stay with my Aunt Sallie. I was a young small town girl who was naive. She showed me sooo many new things in life, museum , music , plays and fine dining. She and her friend Kitty was sooo much fun. She taught me how to cook great dishes that I still cook to this day. I could go on and on about this great and wonderful lady that took me in and how much I will love and miss her smile and a special laughter. Rest in peace Aunt Sallie

I was sad when I heard the news of Mrs. Sallie's passing. I shall always remember her lovely smile, kindness and generosity.
