I went to school with Sahlena at CCS from 1st-6th and then when she came back in 8th grade. I still remember her and Alena’s first day of school in Mrs Bates class where we first met. Sahlena always made me laugh and I still remember her getting up in my face when I was crying to make me laugh and feel better. She was a happy and precious soul. One of the last times I seen her she was working at Wendy’s and I was at the drive thru with my friend and as soon as we saw each other we were so excited and I ran inside and we had hugged, but we couldn’t talk for too long because she was working. That was sometime last year. Sahlena always made those she was close to feel loved and I will forever treasure that last moment we had. Hearing the news about Sahlena truly broke my heart and my mother’s.
