I was in shock & incredibly saddened when I heard the news of Saeid's passing. My husband and I met Saeid years ago through his beautiful wife Melissa, who is a dear friend and colleague of mine. Saeid was such a wonderful man! He was a loving husband to Melissa and a devoted father to their son, Kean. He had incredible work ethic and took the best care of his family. The world is a sadder place without him, and to all who knew him, he will be remembered fondly, and his memory will live on in our hearts forever. On behalf of my family, we are sending our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Melissa, Kean, and family. 🙏🏼

Saeid was my cousin. He was two years older than me and when we were kids we were playmates. Our homes in Tehran were adjacent so our families mingled each and everyday . Though as adults we rarely saw one another - he in California and my family on the East Coast- he and Melissa (who lovingly sent updates and photos ) stayed close to my heart. Saeid was a wonderful father and husband, a generous man. His nephew, Shayan, owes his life in the US to his uncle’s bravery and commitment to his family. He also gave a hand up to my brother Keyhan and his family when they moved to the US. He made sure they found employment and settled in comfortably . It’s hard for me to accept that he is gone … but I take comfort in all the gifts he’s left behind for his family .

I wish his family strength during this difficult time .
