Sadrach's obituary

On Sunday, August 13, 2023, our mighty Lord and Savior called one of his beloved angels Sadrach Santiago home. He was born on July 23, 1975, in Brooklyn, NY to the Sadrach Guzman (deceased) and Wilda Santiago.

Sadrach attended King’s County schools. He grew up in the church as a young boy and always had a love for God in his heart all his life. He wasn’t perfect to say the least, but he tried to do his best. He loved fishing, cooking, watching movies, and listening to music. He especially loved joking around and keeping everyone happy and smiling. He was a generous soul. He helped others as much as he could, whether stranger or loved one. Overall, he was a good person who wouldn’t hurt anyone. He loved his kids and family so much, especially his mother, like crazy.

Sadrach relocated to North Carolina from New York in 1995 and obtained gainful employment with Smithfield and Perdue prior to that.

Sadrach leaves to cherish his memory three daughters and one son: Krystal Santiago, Kayla Santiago, Saquan Santiago, and Deziyah Santiago; one grandson, Royal Santiago; one brother, Jose Santiago, one sister, Jennifer Rosa; nieces and nephews, (Jennifer’s Children) Charles Worthington Jr., Katlyn Mazyck, and Kennedy Sewell; (Jose’s Children) Diamond Kennedy, Charde Santiago, Ny’dajah Santiago, and Ny’ariyon Santiago; and a host of relatives and friends.
