Sabrina's obituary
Sabrina was born on November 4, 1981 to Solange Blain and Lyonel Nazon in Paris, France. After emigrating to the United States in her youth, she pursued her education diligently and then graduated from Miami-Dade College with a degree in Radiologic Technology/Science and became a Registered Radiography Technologist certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. This led to a prolific career as a Radiographer and Mammogram Technologist, where she served, and was regarded by, thousands of patients - and loved by most. Her long career included 16 years at Kings County Hospital, eventually followed by a shorter tenure at AdvantageCare Physicians and lastly at WCS HealthCare Partners.
Sabrina was the quintessential “GirlMom” dedicating her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother of her four daughters. Sabrina was a strong, yet gentle spirit that excelled at propping up family, friends and patients by supporting their many passions and providing a shoulder through the difficulties of their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others.
Sabrina was also a passionate about fitness, natural/holistic health and financial independence, so when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in the gym, or educating others about healthcare products and ways to improve their finances. We will miss her greatly.
Sabrina was predeceased by her mother Solange Blain. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Lonissa, Samantha, Sidney and Madison; husband Lossil Euton Edwards; father Lyonel Nazon; siblings Charles Blain, Valery Crittenden, Gregory Blain, Melissa Nazon-Tolbert, Lindsay Nazon and Christopher Nazon. There will be a funeral service on Saturday, July 10, 2021, 1p.m. at Heritage Memorial Chapel, 665 Blake Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11207 and repass following at 4pm at 99 Liberty Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11212.
