It’s hard to imagine that there was a time in my life not so long ago when I thought of you, Ryuji, as perhaps becoming my son, imagining the grandchildren you might one day have with my daughter. You had so much potential, and you were such a remarkable, bright, and loving kid. There are simply no words I can say that can ever fill the space you’ve left behind in my heart.

Ryuji Raye Jackson, 20, of Turner, Oregon, passed away on August 6, 2025. He was born on July 21, 2005, in Salem, Oregon, to Luna and Jestahn Jackson.

Ryuji is survived by his brother, Ryonen Jackson, his sister, Ryoko Jackson, his parents, grandparents aunts and uncles. He also leaves behind countless friends whose lives were brighter because of him.
