Hi this is Rod, Rylens dad. Thank you all so much, especially his friends and classmates, for sharing your memories and thoughts of my son. It makes me happy to know he was loved and that he made people laugh and smile. I never knew any of his friends because I only hung out w him on Maui where he only hung out w me. We watched movies, went to the beach, played lots of video games and farted on each other a lot. He was my little clone and sometimes I worried that I wasn't teaching him to act more properly or set some ground rules for him but I just let him do whatever he wanted. I just loved his humor and laughter so much I just wanted to see him happy. Your stories make me smile and now I see he was loved as well in San Jose as he was on Maui. Mahalo to you all!!!

On behalf of Branham High School, we send our most sincere condolences and sympathy to the Medina and Antone families. Rylen was an amazing young man who touched all who knew him in a positive way.
I was never in the closest circle of his friend group, but I had known Rylen since middle school. The way he was always joking and cheering people up was great to see, and I'm sure I'm just one of many people deeply saddened to see this beacon of joy extinguished.
I had the honor of being Rylen's Spanish One Teacher last year. He was such a joy to have in class. I always loved to hear his stories or his class ideas. He had such a creative and kind soul. He will be forever missed. My heart hurts.
You and your family are in our hearts and prayers. My deepest condolences, cousin. Take care
We extend our condolence and prayers to your entire family. May God give you strength thru this trying time. God Bless you and Rylen. From Iboy and Auntie Becky.
Rylen was a close friend of mine. He meant a lot to me and I’m saddened to see him leave this earth. He was funny and always could make people smile. Rylen was also caring in that he was always there for us. I’ll never forget the time I spent with him or the memories we made. I was truly blessed to have had Rylen in my life. Rest In Peace.
I’m so sorry for your loss and I didn’t know Rylen too much at Branham and sending condolences.🙏
