Ryder's obituary

Ryder Jay Fotschky, a beautiful and healthy little boy, was born on November 24, 2023, in Columbus, GA. Despite being born with only one kidney, Ryder was a healthy baby and brought immense joy to his family. Tragically, at just 6 weeks old, Ryder gained his angel wings on January 9, 2024, in Columbus, Georgia.

Ryder is survived by his loving parents, Heather and Paul Fotschky, and his seven siblings: Skyler, Elizabeth, Nicole, Annabelle, Jasmin, Jayden, and Zander. He was the youngest member of his family and brought a special light into their lives.

Ryder will be dearly missed by his family, as well as his extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda Welch/Burns (Rich), his maternal grandfather, Raymond Hamacek, his paternal grandfather, Paul Fotschky, his aunt, Angela Coyne (Brandon), and his cousins Leeah, BrookeLynn, Caleb, Kaylee, Brandon, Zaiden, BrynnLeigh, and Kinsley. He was also preceded in death by his aunt, Brittany Klingonsmith (Dawson), and his cousins Raiden and Riley. Ryder's uncle, Nathan Hamacek, and his cousin Blake will also cherish his memory.

A memorial service to celebrate Ryder's life will be held at a later date. Details of the service will be announced by the family.
