On January 22, our hearts were forever changed when our sweet baby boy, Ryder Connor Cordero went to heaven. There are no words big enough to hold the love we have for him or the grief we carry in his absence.

Ryder was a beautiful soul—sweet, strong, and deeply loved. From the moment he entered the world, he brought light, hope, and a love so powerful it changed everyone who knew him. He was cherished beyond measure and will always be remembered for the joy and calmness he brought simply by being himself.

Ryder is survived by his loving mother, Kaleigh Ashurst; his father, JohnPaul Cordero; his big sister, Ava Cordero, who loved her baby brother with her whole heart.. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and many others who will spend a lifetime missing him and honoring his memory.

The pain of losing Ryder is immeasurable, but we take comfort in knowing he is at peace, held in heaven, and wrapped in a love far greater than anything we could give him here. He will always be our baby. We will speak his name, tell his story, and love him every day.

A private celebration of Ryder’s life will be held on February 7th.  In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations/memorials/acts of kindness made in Ryder’s honor.
