Mr. Ryan Mark Verderber, age 38, of Raleigh, departed this life on Monday, April 22, 2024.

Born on January 4th, 1986, in Rhinebeck, NY, to the late Helen Scott and Mark Verderber, Ryan's infectious smile and gentile soul touched everyone he met. Ryan spent his early childhood in the Hudson Valley, moving to Wake Forest, NC in Middle School. Ryan made many friends along the way settling in the Raleigh for the remainder of his life.

An avid lover of animals, Ryan found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an animal whisperer with cats and dogs taking to him immediately. Ryan also had a love of skateboarding and used the sport to build long lasting community and friendship. He also used skating to exercise, practice self-help and clear his mind.

Ryan's journey through life was marked by her unwavering kindness and the love he shared with her family and friends. Ryan was a Momma’s boy with Helen Scott and Mark Verderber, predeceased him just this January, leaving a legacy of cherished memories. He was a devoted brother, Nolan Verderber, and Brandi (Jay) Abbondanza, who will carry forward his strength and compassion. He was also an uncle to one, Keith Tracy Verderber.

Later, following the memorial service, burial of ashes will take place at Crum Elbow Cemetery in Hyde Park NY to be buried alongside his parents.
