Ryan's obituary

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ryan Mullins, who left our world on September 16, 2024. Born on May 1, 1995, Ryan's time with us was far too brief, but he made an indelible impact on all who knew him.

Ryan was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Dan Mullins. He leaves behind a distraught family that includes his mother, Faith Mullins; his father, John Mullins; siblings, Tim and Ashley Mullins. Their lives, emptied by his loss, will forever be enriched by his memories.

A man of simple pleasures, Ryan found joy in life's everyday things. He had a deep appreciation for bacon cheeseburgers, a hearty meal that reflected his vibrant and spirited personality. The music of Hank Williams Jr. moved him profoundly and was often the soundtrack of his life. As an ardent fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, he reveled in the thrill of the game and the camaraderie it inspired.

Ryan was in his element, rod and reel in hand, while fishing. His love for the outdoors extended to his fitness regimen, and he was a passionate weightlifter. He had a heartfelt affinity for Florida, his getaway of choice and a place where he felt truly at ease. Closer to home, he cherished Mike's Bar and Grill, a local haunt that was a testament to his communal spirit.

As a devoted US Marine, Ryan displayed an unwavering commitment to the cause he held dear. His favorite color, green, symbolized his love for the corps and his zest for life. Friends and family describe him as smart, responsible, and always on time - a testament to his meticulous nature and disciplined lifestyle. Ryan's most sage advice was, 'Never give up, never quit,' an ethos he lived by and imparted to those around him.

His service as a US Marine was among his most significant accomplishments, and it exemplified his dedication to his country and his indomitable spirit. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. His energy, his joy, and his love will be missed dearly by family, friends, and all who knew him.
