Ryan Lane Montgomery was born to Russ and Char (Geiger) Montgomery on October 11, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Ryan grew up next to his cousins and older sister Rhonda, enjoying sports and all that the Midwest had to offer. Ryan’s youth made him an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and even worked for the forestry service as a tree planter in Montana. There was never a challenge too big or too small for …
