Ryan Matthew Downs was born March 30, 1982 in Maryland to Michael and Ginny Downs . Ryan was a brother to Jason, Jeff, Catherine, Lauren and Garrett. He grew up in Orange County, Virginia embraced by his loving family and many lifelong friends. Another place he called home was Austin, Texas where he indulged in his love of music, bartending, belt buckles and handle bar mustaches. Ryan most recently lived in Woodbridge, Virginia with his loving partner Mayu Cervantes. They spent their time gardening, cooking, enjoying Peruvian cuisine and spending time with family - the Cervantes family becoming an extension of his own. He loved music, storytelling, being the fun uncle, local sports teams and the beach. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael and brother, Garrett. Ryan was a charismatic, jovial personality who loved deeply and never missed out on a good time. He was always so fun and entertaining -- his presence will be missed by many.
