Ryan's obituary
Ryan Burke, age 49, passed away on May 1, 2025, after courageously facing the battle with brain cancer (Glioblastoma), diagnosed in July 2024. Though the illness took his body, it never touched his spirit—he won in every way that mattered.
After the passing of his father in 2020, Ryan stepped into the role of family patriarch with quiet strength and unwavering integrity. He led by example—his words were few, but always meaningful, and his actions inspired greatness in everyone who knew him.
Ryan’s heart belonged to his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sharidy; his loving mother, Sherry; his children, Coral, Kana, and Lucas; his brother, Mike; sisters, Kristi and Lori; and his beloved grandchildren, Kate, Jesse, Butler, and Lainey. Becoming a grandfather at a young age was one of his greatest joys—he never missed a moment to be with them, and they adored him in return.
Raised by his loving and driven parents, Ryan inherited a gift for seeing beauty in the overlooked and potential in the forgotten. He restored homes, fifth wheels, vehicles, boats—you name it. There wasn’t a thing he couldn’t fix or improve. His life motto was: "He who dies with the most toys, wins—and you married a winner, baby.”
Ryan’s journey touched countless lives. His resilience, kindness, and quiet strength left a lasting legacy. He will be remembered not only for his compassion and ambition, but for the way he made others feel seen, supported, and loved.
A celebration of life to honor and celebrate Ryan’s life will be held on 6/7/2025 at his home (please reach out directly for details).
May Ryan rest in eternal peace, free from pain, and may his memory continue to bring comfort and strength to all who loved him.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Burke Family
