Ruthie Mae Allen (93), of Memphis Tennessee, passed peacefully June 28, 2021. A compassionate spirit whose passion was always serving and helping others. She had a heart full of love, an ear ready to listen and a hand always willing to help. She joined Penecostal Temple Church of God in Christ in 1963 and in 1973, join the Usher Board Where she faithfully served. She believed that the greatest good is what you do for others nothing was insignificant when you served God. Even though she has been taken away from this world, her vivacious and giving spirit will be missed by many.

Born in De Soto County Mississippi she was the daughter of the late Hosea Patterson and Florence (Gray) Patterson. She was predeceased by her sons Eddie Louis Allen, Jr. and David Allen. She is survived by her children, Louistine Greer, Viola (Adell) Spencer, Larry Allen and Mary Allen; Two grand children, Andres (Marvi) Jackson and Terence Spencer; two great- grandchildren, Terence Spencer, Jr. and Caiden Spencer; and sixteen siblings.
