Although my relationship with my dad became strained after my Nana’s passing, I recognize he had struggles within himself that also affected his relationships with others. A loss is still a loss, and his passing has been hard. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has reached out, shared kind words, or checked in—it has meant so much.
