Ruth was my best friend in high school. Although I joined the Army right out of high school, we stayed in touch and she was my maid of honor when I got married. She was one of the gentlest and kindest people I know and she faced life with a courage and grace that were unmatched. She lived her life with a positivity that set an example for everyone whose life she touched. Ruth will be greatly missed.
