It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Anders, a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on May 28, 2025, aged 76 years. Ruth was born on December 2, 1948, a beacon of warmth and unconditional love. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Ruth, a loving mother, leaves behind her children; Samantha Melton, Ronald Denton, and Thomas Hathaway. Each of them born respectively on June 19, 1967, June 7, 1968, and July 3, 1971. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren; Cameron Peterson, Christopher Waterman, and James Peterson. Ruth's family was the cornerstone of her life, and she considered raising her children one of her greatest accomplishments.

She is also survived by her brother, Jerry Wilson, and her sister, Mary McIntyre. They have lost not just a sister, but a lifelong friend, confidante and someone with whom they shared countless memories. Ruth was predeceased by her beloved parents, Nina Viola Olson and Floyd Gerald Wilson, and her siblings, Hope Kimbler and Dale Wilson.

Ruth’s life was guided by her faith, love for the Lord, and a zealous commitment to giving more than she received. The way she loved, unconditionally and unabashedly, was a lesson she instilled in her family and spread to all those around her.

As we mourn the loss of Ruth, we also celebrate her life. She lived fully, loved deeply, and her faith was unwavering, even in the face of adversity. Her legacy, the love for our Lord and Savior Jesus, will continue to inspire and guide us. Ruth's spirit, full of warmth and generosity, will forever live on in our hearts.
