We look forward to welcoming you to celebrate Rusty’s life with delicious food and a no-host bar at the Uptown Grill starting at 1:00 on July 19, 2025.

Please RSVP on this page as soon as you are able so we can get a headcount for catering.

For anyone coming in from out of state, please contact Morgan or Meredith about hotels and AirBNB options. We have group rates reserved at the DoubleTree in downtown Olympia, a short walk from the restaurant. Parking at the venue for the memorial is limited, so please plan accordingly.

Our first toast to Rusty’s life will start at 1:30.

Waterproof paper and pens will be at every table for you to write down your favorite stories to share with our family.

Open Mic time will begin at 2:00, so you can get on the podium and tell everyone how he saved your life, found you the most amazing car, cheered you on, built you up or reminded you that there’s more to all of us than we ever thought possible.

To be a part of Rusty’s life was a gift that we will all cherish forever.

A slideshow of pictures will be running on a projector, so if you have any fun snapshots to contribute, please send them to Meredith, Morgan or Ginny before July 10.

Thank you so much for celebrating the life of a legend with us. Rusty’s spirit will always be a part of our world, even though his mortal body is no longer with us.
