Russell's obituary

Russell Dean Fulton of Seville, passed away peacefully October 22, 2019. Dean, as he was known, was 90 years old. Dean lived in Seville for most of his life. He served the town as both a councilman and a member of the Board of Public Affairs. He was an active member of the Seville United Methodist Church, helping where ever he was needed. Dean was instrumental in the construction of the addition that houses the fellowship hall. Dean also helped build Seville's Library. He was very active with the Seville Lions Club and loved working their annual horse show, for which he built the judges stand. There was nothing he couldn't build or fix.
Dean worked for and later was owner of Swagler's Incorporated in Seville for 44 years. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipe fitters Local 219. After retiring from plumbing in 1994, Dean worked for Martin Public Seating in Seville. He also loved to lend a hand at Lutes Custom Cabinets in Navarre.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents, J Ernest and Violet Fulton, as well as a brother Bert.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Nancy and their children John Fulton, Barbara Tytula (Joe), Rick Fulton (Heather Goodwin) and Tamara Lutes (Rick). He was the proud grandfather of 5 grandchildren; Kristi Gacek (Tim), Todd Dorland, Katherine Duffy (Conor), Chase and Liberty Lutes. He also had 5 great grandchildren; Emily, Abby, Evie and Aly Gacek and Jaxon Dorland. Dean is also survived by a brother, Duane Fulton and sisters, Phyllis Leatherman (Bob) and Diane Anderson (Scott).
