Russell's obituary
Russell Lee Clement
Russell Lee Clement, 47, of Baytown, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in Houston.
Russell was born April 3, 1977, in Sulphur, Louisiana, to parents John Dean and Beverly Lorraine Hackley Clement, and has resided in Baytown for the past 14 years. He also lived in Louisiana for a few years working there. As a graduate of North West High School and of the Baptist faith, Russell was an innocent-minded individual who worked diligently as a driver holding a CDL license. He found joy in making people laugh, especially the guests he transported on his shuttle buses. Russell's passion included socializing and collecting Hot Wheels. He was an avid fan of the movie Knight Rider and was looking forward to one day going to Missouri to sit inside KITT the car and ask it questions. His dogs, particularly Lulu, held a special place in his heart, offering him hugs each morning. Russell will be remembered for his kindness, compassion, curiosity, and the positive impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
The funeral service to honor and celebrate Russell's life will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 6123 Garth Rd., Baytown, Texas 77521. Visitation is from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with a Service at 6:00 PM. In addition to Russell’s Tribute on Crespo and Jirrels' website, he also has a memorial website through Everloved.com.
Russell was preceded in death by his father, John Dean Clement, mother Beverly Leger Clement, stepmother Christine Clement, step-grandson Zachary Whitaker, his grandparents, and his fur baby, Apple.
Russell is survived by his loving wife, Mary Teresa Clement; his best friend, James Stone; and his stepdaughters Kelly and Kevin Pierce, Lisa, and Chris Whitaker, and Kerry and Chuck Rickard; as well as his step-grandchildren Kegan, Cody, Drew, Hunter and Jasmine, Christian, and Jayden. He had countless extended family and other friends who will forever hold dear his memory.
Russell will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
