Russell's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we share Russell Carnahan lost his short battle with cancer on April 15, 2025 in Las Vegas, NV.
He leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Heather Cimbura. They met in Minnesota and moved to Las Vegas, NV where Heather attended culinary school. Together they were avid sports fans, enjoyed gambling and good food at many restaurants around Vegas. They were season ticket holders for the NHL Golden Knights and looked forward to their yearly trips back to Minnesota for the State Fair. His sister, Amanda will remember her brother fondly as a special Uncle to Evan creating memories of school pick ups and McDonald's meals.
Russell was preceded in death by his father Paul R Carnahan. He is survived by his mother Karen Carnahan, sister Amanda Carnahan and brother in law Fernando Chavez, brother and sister in law Brian and Shanon Cimbura, nephews Evan and Kyle, nieces Jordyn and Taryn, grand nephews Samson and Oliver, and grand niece Elliott.
A Celebration of Life for Russell and his father Paul (June 7, 2024) will be held on July 12, 2025 1-4 PM Minneapolis Eagles Club 2507 E. 25 Street, Minneapolis, MN 55406.
