Thank you so much for everyone's love and support during this difficult time. Losing Rufus has been very difficult, but it's been made a little easier by this community of people. We would like to thank you for your love condolences, support and attendance &participation in our celebration of this amazing man. We also want to give a HUGE shout out to Joel for not only opening his home up to our family friends and community not only once but on two occasions to celebrate both the life of Robert Wayne Martin and Rufus Gene Martin your hospitality and kindness is appreciated beyond words

Rufus G Martin passed away peacefully after living a full and active life. Despite being given a 5year life expectancy after a horrible motorcycle wreck he stayed with us 34yrs.

He was born in Corbin, Ky to Ardill and Evelyn Martin. He was the youngest of 3brothers. He grew up in Oceanside Ca Thunder Hills neighborhood and that is where he remained for the entirety of his life. He attended Vista High. Was a member …
