Rudy Chatreau, age 65, passed away in his sleep Monday morning on December 19th, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, his sisters Dorothy and Debbie, his brothers, Mike and Jeff and his children, Rudi (27), Kaelyn (29), Nicole (34), Jerod (35) Amber (36), Dawn (39), Dahlia (44), and Derick (45); as well as many grandchildren. 

Rudy may have had some struggles in life, but he lived to the fullest. He would do anything for his friends and family and was always willing to help out a stranger in need. He always had a story that could make you laugh and on occasion, cringe. He loved blasting his music, driving around town with the windows down in the freezing cold and riding his motorcycle whenever he could. Everyone who knows him, knows he was a stubborn, ornery man. He was loud, with a strong presence and was always on the go and often times, creating mischief. He was a character who has and will continue to leave a lasting impact and impression on those he met in life. 

Our family is grateful to know that Rudy is finally at peace and is no longer in pain, as the last few years of his life were very hard on him. While we know life is limited, no one ever expected the clock to come to an end for Rudy. That man always said he was going to live forever and we all believed it.

Service will be held at the Northern CA Veterans Cemetery in Igo, CA. on Friday, January 13th at 9:30am. 

Service will be 30 minutes long.

There will not be a reception service to follow.
