Suddenly, July 12, 2019, an angel was created.
Predeceased by her devoted husband Donald M. Madigan, beloved daughter, Frances E. Magee, son-in-law, Cahal Magee, parents and siblings. Survived by her Grandchildren; Donna Lynn Oakes (Magee), Linda Danesi, Scott Danesi, Brian Gillespie, Donald Gillespie. Great-Grandchildren Joe Magee(Ashley), Anthony Stendardo, Cahal Oakes, Frances Oakes, Dominic Gillespie, Jessica Danesi. Many nieces and nephews.
After the death of her eldest daughter, Frances, Rubye (Mamah) played a key role in raising Donna Lynn. "She showed me unconditional love, encouraged my education, and taught me to never give up. She was my definition of home. I always felt safe in her arms." - Donna Lynn
Rubye was a General Motors retiree (1972)
As a long time member of the AKC Kennel Club, and Founder of RuDon's Kennels, Rubye was known for her dedication to responsible, and ethical, handling & breeding. Over her many years with the AKC she produced many Championship Show Dogs and created a notable lineage! "Mikey," was her last Yorkie companion, and she loved him like a child. Her contribution to the species is commendable.
Rubye could make anything grow! She took joy in gardening and landscaping. She often said that gardening was natural therapy. "You just have to keep moving!" She even managed to make dried flowers come to life through many arrangements created including a bridal bouquet for Donna Lynn.
She was a devoted and loving Matriarch who freely gave of herself to help others. She embodied love but suffered greatly in her final years. While the world feels slightly off kilter without her, and she will be forever missed, she is now at peace.
